Has anyone ever heard of Parvo K?
I just started fostering on my own again (used to run a group but politics is not my strong suit). Well I got a puppy that was pulled from a GA high kill shelter and wouldn’t you know he contracted Parvo during the transport with 40 other dogs/pups.
I have treated Parvo before, SubQ fluids, enemas, antibiotics for secondary infections. Anyway my vet back home suggested ordering this stuff. It worked with the second dose. No vomit or diarrhea in 12 hours and he just started symptoms yesterday. Has anyone else ever used this stuff? I am curious if this puppy just happened to have a really strong Constitution or if its actually this stuff.?

Is it O.K. to give my dog another round of parvo shots?
When my dog was a puppy I gave him a round of parvo shots but I don’t remember if I gave him the full round. It seems like I might have missed one (I don’t remember). Is it safe to give him another round of parvo shots?

Istructions for doing a k-9 parvo test?
I need to do a parvo test on a puppy and need instructions on properly doing the test
I work for a vet clinic and they sent it home with me so i could do it there but the parvo test they gave me are the new ones and they did not send me with instructions on how to use the new test and the pup needs the test done before i can take it back to work with me so i dont expose it to other animals if it is sick . I tried to contact someone from work on insructing me but have had no luck! I no its a fecal matter test but i want to make sure i conduct the new test properly

petalive parvo-k have you tried it?
my puppy has recently been diagnosed with parvo and was wondering if any one has tried this “medicine” does it work? or does anyone have any other suggestions?
I’m sorry my puppy is at the vet. today was day 2 that he was there. This is my first time having a puppy so all this is new.

  6. ♥Anna♥ says:

I dont think you can do it at home….

  7. Blue Haired Old Lady says:

Take him to the vet for antibiotics and IV fluids. It is worth the money. The dog will die otherwise.

  8. Rayven ~ Waiting for summer says:

Never heard of it before but having read up on it it may have been a combination of that, the pup’s constitution AND the fact you caught and treated it right away. Def. something to keep in mind for the future.

  9. Elizabeth D says:

If your puppy has parvo … it’s serious to the point where it could die. You can’t use stuff from the pet store. Take your puppy to the vet for real medicine ASAP.

  10. jaclyn says:

Give him one booster, not a whole “round”. As long as he is over 4mo old he only needs one.
